Priceline Hotel: 3* Miami (Downtown) Holiday Inn Port of Miami

Hi there

I have just confirmed cruise and flight details and am now trying to book a hotel for Sun. Jan. 14 - Tues Jan. 16, 2007

I am wondering if you can help me identify the following...

3* Condo Miami Beach - $130/nt

Suite

Beachfront

Complimentary Breakfast

Pool

Laundry

Kitchenette

Also, are booking these condo options recommended vs booking a hotel room? I am unsure of the quality of a private condo - so any input would be appreciated...

This could even be a timeshare or interval ownership type of property. I tried to identify it by going to the Hotwire packages, but could not find a 3* with the amenities that you have listed. I prefer a condo because the rooms are typically bigger and the Kitchen(ette) lets me keep plenty of beer and a few bottles of water cold. :)

PS it appears that a 3.5* is available for your dates of travel @ $121, amenities are: Boutique, Near Beach, Pool, Restaurant. This is likely the Blue Moon Hotel as it appears on Hotwire Packages.

We were booking 3 rooms for a post-cruise stay

Tried 4* with all the rebid zones upto $130 - no luck

Next tried 3* - Miami Downtown - $115 - no

Miami Downtown w/rebid 1 - $120 - no

Miami Downtown w/rebid 2 - $130 - got the Holiday Inn

We were hoping for the Marriott or Doubletree because the Holiday Inn is not really much more than $130 on the Holiday Inn website, but we're still okay with it. One less thing to worry about now.

One question - our flight comes into Miami the morning of our cruise but our cruise is leaving from Fort Lauderdale - wondering if anybody knows about good, cheap transportation for 7 people from MIA to Port Everglades
