n2dwoods Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Ok I'll try to remember my entire bidding history:I tried for a resort in Scottsdale at $45 RejectedAdded PHX airport as a rebid (no resorts there) tried $50 RejectedTried 4 star as well, same 2 areas, $52 RejectedAdded 3 star, bid $50, ACCEPTED at Hilton Phoenix AirportFYI on hilton.com, a room was listed at $229/night.However there is a big renovation going on there so the pool is not open. They let me use pool at the next-door Sleep Inn. I asked for a 'quiet' room and they gave me a first floor directly adjacent to the jackhammering by the pool. Luckily they stopped before 5PM and there wasn't a problem at night. Room was big, complimentary airport shuttle was helpful.
