oharelarry Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 This is for 11/29-12/3.My target property is 2.5* Wyndham Garden Park Central. I know that his property is one of the two 2.5* properties on the Priceline list for Park Central.I would like to keep this at a limit of $38.00 if possible.
dahammer Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 it appears at the 2.5* level, there are two rebid zones available, but you can't target a specific hotel when bidding for an opaque property. Your stay is 5 nights, so your bid per day must be greater than the lowest minimum offer that the hotel will accept for the entire stay. That means if the hotel is empty during the weekend, they may accept a lower bid than during Monday-Friday. You may want to consider splitting your bids, and if you do, you may need to change hotels.Good luck!
oharelarry Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Posted October 31, 2006 Thanks for the tip. What are the two rebid zones for this and what exactly do you mean by an opaque property?
AaronJB Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 opaque means that you cannot see which hotel it is prior to purchase.
dahammer Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 What are the two rebid zones for thisgive a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.....I could tell you the zones, but you really need to get this on your own....just go back to the Dallas area and then check on and uncheck each "zone" individually, and note the name of each zone that has a maximum star rating of 2* or less. You need to check and then uncheck each box and you should find out that at the 2.5* level there are two rebid zones available. Can you please list these below?
