thereuare
This hotel has not yet been identified and unforutnately there's not much to do on since these amenities are very common for most 4* hotels. The Hotel Valencia shows this amenity combination in the non-opaque version, but also shows a Boutique icon, so there is a chance they have removed the boutique icon in the opaque service in order to increase opacity, but i wouldn't count on it as there is no evidence of such at this point. LotzOStuff
So I may need to be the trooper who just buys it and then we know, huh??? I'll see if my parents are up for it. Hoping it might be the Marriott Plaza. Great establishment... Link to comment
LotzOStuff
How about the downtown/Riverwalk 2.5* with the following: (same dates)Suite, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness, Pool(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities, KitchenetteLooks liek we will be selecting one fo these and hopefully adding to the library of info here at betterbidding.com Link to comment
thereuare
The 2.5* is a match for the AmeriSuites so that would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link (or have your parents use it) for any purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. LotzOStuff
Started at $50/night and added free rebids +$5 up to $75 with no luck. Plenty of time. Will keep trying and eventually mayb esettle for hotwire 4* that is unknow at this point. Link to comment
LotzOStuff
Oops, should say 12/27 in the title only a 2 day stay.Tried Priceline again today starting at $55, and rebidding up to $80/night with no luck.Undetermined Hotwire hotel available for $89 a night so I'm not wanting to go much higher on Priceline. Will try $60-$85 tomorrow. Link to comment
dahammer
can you list the amenities shown for this Hotwire 4* property?thanks! Link to comment
LotzOStuff
Fitness, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi-Speed InternetBest Value!4 *was $89/night... 112/27 - 12/29I posted in the hotwire forum... http://www.betterbidding.com/show.php/showtopic/29194Now the Hotel Valencia is up with $89/night pricing. Tempting, bnut I may continue to play the Priceline game a few days longer, and personally, I would rather gamble on the "undetermined" location. Find out some more info for this site, and maybe end up loving the spot.Anyhelp with the revious hotwire listing would be appreciated...Thanks -- Brian Link to comment
LotzOStuff
Tried again tonight, $55 up to $80 with no luck... Hotwire is basically unchanged. The Hotel Valencia has some great reviews, but also an impressive amount of bad reviews, at least more than I ordinarily see for accomodations... Will keep working on the Priceline angle for a while and see if anything pops up.dahammer, do you think you know what the other 4* Hotwire property I listed earlier is??? Link to comment
dahammer
your priceline and Hotwire topics have been merged as your dates of travel are the same.I have to agree with Thereuare that this is probably the Valencia Link to comment
LotzOStuff
The first Hotwire hotel I was seeing was:Best Value!Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Hi-Speed InternetNow I am seeing:Boutique, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, HSIwhich I believe to be the Hotel Valencia...Guess it could be that they just added the boutique icon in thee, and both are the same??? We'll know soon enough if Priceline doesn't come through soon. Link to comment
LotzOStuff
Still no significant luck or changes with Priceline or Hotwire for this timeframe...Until tonight. Now 4* Downtown/Riverwalk fopr $112/nightOnly shows fitness center, business center...Any ideas... Need to go for something soon. Link to comment
thereuare
This hotel has not yet been identified, but if i had to take some guess, i'd think maybe it's the Hilton without the full list of amenities.
