TJewel Posted December 29, 2003 Report Share Posted December 29, 2003 Going on a cruise in November 2004, was looking aroung the internet at rates for various hotels in Fort Lauderdale for a post cruise stay. Had not planned on truly booking a room till spring. Went to Hotwire and plugged in the dates and thought they wouldn't have reasonable availability. A 3* in the Fort Lauderdale Beach zone came up at $59 with the following amenities: Beach Access, Restraunt, Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center and Laundry. Thanks to this site I realized there was a good chance it was the Sheraton Yankee Clipper. So 10 months in advance I booked it. Total $118 + $19.95(taxes and fees) for a total of $137.95. Sheraton website was offering the same room for $145/day Internet special advanced payment. :) Link to comment
