thereuare Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Please follow-up your St Thomas thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... we'll then have a look at the above. annamana Posted September 17, 2006 Author Report Posted September 17, 2006 Sorry I never posted a follow-up for St. Thomas. We didn't end up going with Hotwire as we were offered a stay with friends in a rented condo.
thereuare Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 These amenities are quite common for a hotel, but i'd lean more towards the Four Points in Emeryville than i would the Doubletree in Berkeley. Besides the amenities fitting the Doubletree, was there anything else that keyed you in on that property? Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. BEAV Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 If you do a vacation package search on Hotwire for 12/1/06-12/3/06, you see the amenities displayed for the 3* Doubletree in Berkeley are:FitnessPoolRestaurantBusinessLaundryHi-Speed InternetGolfTennisHotwire sometimes displays different amenities for the same property in their vacation packages vs hotel-only product. So with that in mind, there are 3 contenders here: Doubletree, Four Points Sheraton and Holiday Inn Bay Bridge.
