thereuare Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 This is a match for the Westin so that would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. jsparis Posted September 3, 2006 Author Report Posted September 3, 2006 Thanks for the reply. The Hotwire lisitng quotes a retail price of $219.00 for that room on that night. The best rate on the Westin site for that night is $289.00. Do the two numbers generally sync up? Thanks ...-jsp
thereuare Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 Not always, see Hotwire Retail Prices and Identifying Hotwire Hotels threads for discussions on this subject.I will add that those amentieis are quite common for a 'business' hotel in a city... and when i did a HOTWIRE search for yoru dates the 4* hotel came up at $277/nite (and a retail price of $300+)... are you still seeing a 4* for $155? (using retail prices of the 4* i'm seeing would imply the Sofitel... so maybe there is more than one 4* hotel in this zone with the same amenities?) jsparis Posted September 3, 2006 Author Report Posted September 3, 2006 Yes, I'm still seeing a 4* for $155.00. I must say that a retail price of $219.00 for a 4* in Philadelphia is a bit low. I've stayed at the Sofitel and Park Hyatt (but not the Westin), and both would be fine for $155.00.-jsp
brooklynsapphire Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 It sounds like the Sofitel to me.
