Was this your first bid in the zone? If not, what was your previously rejected bid amount?

What time are you arriving?

Would is your commuting budget? You can do it for $30 (direct route) or you can do it for $5 (very indirect route)... as well as prices inbetween with 'inconveniences' proportional to price.

9/1 - 9/3 $160

Can you offer some advice on how to get from EWR to the Hyatt since I will be arriving late that night?

The information is on this board but this site condenses it very well.

I caught a taxi from EWR (Gate 5 left hand side at departure lounge exit), very easy to Secaucus, $35 + tip.

Took 20 minutes, door to door.

Looks like the Hyatt is about the same price.

Thereuare has local knowledge.

I started my bidding at $70 and had two zones increasing the bid $10 every bid. Finally got it at $160. I figured that was a good price since it is labor day weekend.

I am arriving at 11:30pm so just looking for a easy and safe way to get to our hotel.

Direct Route.
