Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (USE) Palomar Hotel

Had a stay at the Westin St. Francis, which I tried to extend on priceline, with no luck. Began new bid with USE at $80.00, used all rebids up to $95.00. Closed browser anbd reopened. Started with USW at $80.00, then quickly acellerated with free rebids and USE to $105.00, at which time was accepted at the Palomar. A little more than I wanted to spend, but it's an excellent hotel.

To clarify, did you jump from $80 to $105 in one shot, or did you increment slowly and your previously rejected bid was some other amount (like $100?)

As I remember, I began at $80.00 USW, added USE at $95.00, free rebid at $101.00; free rebid at $105.00. I skipped a couple of increments with the knowledge thaqt USE could not be had for $95.00. Hope that clarifies it. I went through Savingsbarn.com, which I do every time now. Replaced priceline on bookmarks with Savingsbarn.com. Works like a charm :)
