I had been bidding on Priceline for the same area up to $180 without success. So I decided to use Hotwire and have a good chance of knowing what I was getting. I thought with the Hotwire price of $188 I would be able to get it for less than $180 on Priceline, but not this time.

I still thought prices were a bit high for these dates. There is a big concert in Honolulu on Dec. 9th, U2 and Pearl Jam. Lots of people going over for that...including me!

Now I need to get my room on Maui for 12/10-12/14.....I'll let you know how I do.

OK, I will use your HOTWIRE link from now on. Do you have a PRICELINE link as well? I was in Sydney, Australia last week and used PL for a hotel there, but I was unable to get the SB link to work. I'm not sure if it was because I was in Australia at the time. I haven't posted that win yet, but I will!

The Honolulu Marathon is also that weekend (Dec. 10), and they expect 30,000 people. It is going to be super busy over there! We are going too. :)
