It takes the price down a bit. We did this last year (also July).Pretty hot back in UK (record highs) as well but probably a lot cooler! Link to comment

I think there are two in the area but could be wrong, One Huntington Beach and one at Newport Beach.Personally I preferred Santa Barbara to Huntington Beach but I know that is further north if you are heading to Vegas. We flew from Burbank for less than we would be to hire a car.Good luck. Link to comment
