trippin tre Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Hi,I am looking to bid on a 3 or 4 star hotel for the above dates for DOWNTOWN area only.My maximum bid for a 3 is $80 and for a 4 - $90.Looking to start bidding tomorrow. Can you suggest a bidding strategy for getting the best rate (if possible). Thanks so much.
thereuare Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 At the 4* level you have four re-bid zones; none at the 3* level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Montreal...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85.If the above is rejected post back and we'll take a closer look at 3* since you only have one shot at it every 24 hours.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
