like2cruise Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Hi~Prices for this hotel are $99.00...great with the horrible exchange rate and so I am planning to book today and canceling our current hotel that is $200.00 more for our stay and rated lower :) My quick question is will the total price shown with taxes and recovery fee include the 17.5% VAT tax? I know in the U.S. it is all inclusive, but this is our first time to Europe. Thanks for your help and I will be sure to use the link listed.
WillTravel Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Just look at the final price on Hotwire and that's all you pay.Some jurisdictions try to charge something like an energy tax for $2/day or something, but London is not one of those cities. Some places charge resort fees - again not in London.

The other hotel did include breakfast, but this should buy me quite a bit of breakfast...oh wait maybe not...it is London :) I used the Savingsbarn.com link. Thanks!!
