thereuare Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 We are please to release the BetterChecker which was designed to help users in their travel research. This tool allows you to enter your travel destination and dates once and then obtain rates from multiple hotels without re-entering your travel information or typing the URL of each website. We have some ideas for future enhancements but will do this beta launch first in order to get some feedback from users to get their thoughts and see what they feel can be improved upon. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Blueskies Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 Does using the Betterchecker automatically give credit to the Board? or do we need to re-enter?
thereuare Posted May 30, 2006 Author Report Posted May 30, 2006 Some are affiliate links... others are not :)Best to use this as a tool for research (as we're treating as somewhat separate from BetterBidding and have it stand on its own merrits) and use our support page if you want to make sure this site gets credit. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Blueskies Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 Thanks. Thought I'd better clear that point up quickly!
vanpoodle Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 I just tried the BetterChecker link but I got a "site not found" error. Is it still in use?
thereuare Posted September 28, 2011 Author Report Posted September 28, 2011 Working fine on this end... although i'll try to change the year option to 2012 in the next day or two (oops!)If you're still having an issue please send us a PM. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
vanpoodle Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Got it -- it worked fine today! Not sure what was going on yesterday, I tried a couple of times just to be sure it wasn't my computer, but I guess it probably was. If you're making tweaks to BetterChecker anyway to add 2012, could you add Starwood? Also, Millennium/Copthorne are a chain in London, if they're not too "local" could they be added?
