friend Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 First bid for Millenium Park zone at $62, received counteroffer of $79. Added free rebid and bid $65. Same counteroffer. Then switched to NMA zone at $62 and won on first bid (rats! I hate winning on the first bid when I have free rebids and/or time). But I am pleased.Your Offer Price: $62.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $62.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $16.84 Total Charges: $78.84
setcarp Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I just tried the same thing for 2 nights. First tried Millinum Park zone at $55 and got rejected. Then tried $58 and adding the NMA zone and got rejected. Tried a third time at $60 and adding a 3.5* and got rejected. So I think you did great at $62.How do you get free rebids?

setcarp Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Actually it is the same date. 5/30/06 2 rooms for 1 night. I was looking for something for 3 of us, and since you can not bid for a suite, I figure 2 rooms would be better. Thanks for the tips.Todd
setcarp Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 I tried again after 24 hours and got the Sheraton for $62. I think that is as low as they go for that day. Thanks for all the help.
