Priceline Hotel: Vancouver 'Zones'

I'm am interested in placing a bid on Priceline for a hotel in Vancouver BC. I'd like something downtown, near the Entertainment District. Have used Hotwire in the past and stayed in Vanc West or Entertainment District.

In looking at other posts for some Priceline tips, I see "Zones" referenced in the rebidding tips. When I go to Priceline however, I don't see anything about zone 1, zone 2 or zone 3... When I put in Vancouver, my area selections are as follows:

Coquitlam - Burnaby

Delta

Langley

Surrey

Vancouver

Vancouver Int'l Airport

Can someone explain the 'zone' reference?

Thanks - I understand zones a 'little' better now I guess.

I'm looking for a 4* in downtown Vancouver on 6/24/06... Preferably around $100 - $125. Is it safe to assume only Vancouver will have 4* hotels? The hotel listing is dated 2003, so I was unsure.
