Jasmine Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 I started off my bidding (through SB) at $31 for a 3*. Bid failed but I was prompted to increase my bid by $8 and try again. Instead, I started over and added West Mifflin as a free rebid zone, bidding $33. That failed as well so I added Pittsburgh North and went up to $35.Radisson Hotel Green Tree 101 Radisson Drive Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15205 Your Offer Price: $35.00 Extend Your Stay Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $70.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $17.67 Total Charges: $87.67

mcgervey Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 The Radisson is a nice hotel, and it's dog friendly, with one of the cool indoor/outdoor pools that, in the summer, you can swim inside out and vice versa. Decent work out area, dry sauna, and locker rooms with showers too. I don't recommend paying for their internet service though, it's not that good and $9.95 a day. If you need to use the net go down to the lounge and use the free plug in connection below the HD tvs. It's nice to know the Radisson is still in play. I bid $40 for a 3 star in greentree for 2 nights back over Christmas and ended up with the Holiday Inn right next door, and was disappointed. I had always gotten the Radisson over about 12 nights total for a $40 Greentree bid. My sister had gotten the HI for $35 before, which is why I always bid $40. The HI isn't bad, but it's nowhere near the quality of the Radisson in the winter, when the outdoor pool is unavailable. The HI and the Radisson Greentree are both DOG FRIENDLY though, for those who need to know.I'll be sure to try Greentree again to get the Radisson, thanks for the post!
