Priceline Hotel: looking for 4* in November

Good morning everyone,

I'm looking for the best room I can get in a 4*/5* in NY 31st Oct - 4th Nov. I've gone as high as 105GBP/ 194 dollars with no luck, which is higher than I thought I would have to pay. I started as low as 130 dollars and tried what you recommend using upper west side and upper east side to show different selections. I gradually included all other areas. Am I just too early to be looking for deal for November? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Did you know that the marathon is on the 5th Nov? The city will be busy for the few days before too with people getting in to register and combine it with a short break.
