Selected the Somerset-Piscataway zone and bid $35 at the 3* level, but was rejected. Added the Somerville zone and increased bid to $45, success!Your Offer Price: $45.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $13.81 Total Charges: $58.81 Probably overbid by $5 or so, but didn't have any rebid zones and didn't want to end up in Edison or elsewhere. Current same day rate is $184, so I'm pleased with the results. So much for my boycott of Marriott Hotels and Interstate Hotels & Resorts' properties over the abominable way that my August '06 Residence Inn Manhattan/Times Square reservation was cancelled without my approval or without any type of counteroffer. :)
