Tried bidding for a 4* hotel starting in MTW, then added re-bid zones before using up the MTE and CPS areas. Started at $110 upwards to $140 with no luck. Dropped down to a 3* level starting at $110 using same strategy and then ultimately accepted at $130.

The deal was booked on March 14, but I didn't post until now due to some mitigating circumstances. The deal was made through savingsbarn.com, and I also made a donation through PayPal to the board.

I started both rounds of bidding at $110, and rejected through to $140 on the 4*. Rejected on 3* at $110 starting at MTW, added a rebid zone at $120 and rejected, and added another rebid zone and won at $130.

Hotels look tight in the New York City in May. This seems to be one of the few winning bids for the month, and where I am staying in New Jersey (Jersey City) for the better part of my trip, the inventory seems pretty tight on a non-opaque basis.
