nle24 Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Hello,I need help finding two rooms for 7/3 - 7/6 on the Las Vegas no preferences on north or south strip. Since we're paying for two rooms, I'm hoping to keep within budget (no higher than $150/night for each room). Preferrably a 3.5 stars or better hotel. Any recommendations/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you! :) nle24
dahammer Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 just accessed Hotwire through savingsbarn.com and there is a 5* available for $130 per night, this has been identified as the Venitian in previous posts. You should be able to do better on Priceline.
nle24 Posted April 12, 2006 Author Report Posted April 12, 2006 Thanks for the speedy response. Sorry our budgets have changed. We want three rooms now and we're hoping for no more than $100/night per room. When I do book the hotel, I'll definitely go through savingsbarn.com. :)
dahammer Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 looks like there is a 3.5* Customer Favorite on Hotwire for $82 with the following amenities: Casino, Pool, Restaurant, Fitness, Spa, High Speed Internet, Tennis, Business. This should be Bally's. You can also check EasyClickTravel Travel and Bally's is available at $83 and is cancellable up to 72 hours before your check in date and should be a better deal after taxes and fees. :)
travelAlot Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 You can get the rooms for about $60 per night. Simply book on Ballys' website -- www.ballyslv.com -- and fax/email on a price-match request to Harrah's Entertainment (details on Ballys reservation website). Not only will Ballys match the $83 EasyClickTravel (or that of any non-opque travel site), it will give an additional 25% off the matched rate -- in your case $60.75 per niight is what you'd end up with. The only downside is that, when accepted, Ballys will email you a confirmation of the new rate and you must present that confirmation at check-in (i.e. it's not automatically adjusted/refunded in the booking system).Hope this helps. When the non-opaque travel sites mistakenly had a $49 (instead of $149, someone forgot the "1" when providing it to the travel sites' systems), rate for Sun 5/28 (day before Memorial Day...rate is gone already), I took advantage of this to get a $36.50 rate. Rule in Vegas, besides "what happens in Vegas..." is also to look at existing rates and hotel policies as you may have better luck doing it direct. Not always but sometimes.....FYI.
nle24 Posted April 20, 2006 Author Report Posted April 20, 2006 Found it! THANK YOU everyone for helping! I LOVE THIS SITE!
