markglynn Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Hi,I know priceline pretty well but have a question about timing. If I am looking for a week in Montreal at end of May, is it better to bid now or closer to the time ot get the best price.I have made two deals recently with priceline. The day before leaving, I booked 3 nights in 4 star Midtown New York, I got the Hilton on 6ht Avenue for 120 from 27th Feb.Two weeks ago I booked three night in central London 4 star from 13th - 16th April and got the Novotel Euston for 80 USD per night. I can not figure which is a better deal, I think perhaps the London one alhtough I am yet to see the hotel and know the location is not as good. I did not know about the savingsbarn link, but I will be sure to use it in the future and report my deals to all.Cheers
