erinys
I already have a Priceline reservation for 3/31 @ the Wyndham Mt. Laurel for $51. I could extend that, but the reviews haven't been great and so many have had positive experiences at 2.5* in the area I'm considering switching. We'd like to spend less than $60 total, so that looks like a bid of max $46 before taxes. I've seen several successful bids at $35, so of course that would be fantastic. I know they could potentially upgrade us right back to the Wyndham, but those are just the chances you take, right? There seems to be a lot of availability in the area. At the moment, the Stadium area seems like the only completely 'safe' rebid. City Line & University have no 2.5* but 3*s available, so again there's an upgrade possibility, but prices in those areas usually seem to be higher. I've only Priceline'd twice before, & both times we've gotten places no one ever seems to report on the board. I'm wondering if my zip or CC or something is doing something weird to my bids. We don't NEED the room, it would just be nice. Any strategy suggestions? Thank you for any advice! Link to comment
