Since I am new to this area, I am unsure of which regions are close by. I will be renting a car and would like a location approximately 15 minutes or less from Elkins Park. dahammer Posted March 23, 2006 Report Share Posted March 23, 2006 If you are willing to drive a little further, you may want to consider the Horsham-Willow Grove zone. Check the Priceline Hotel List - Pennsylvania.Elkins Park is just about 20-25 minutes south on Rt. 611, it should be an easy, stress free drive in the morning. If you book directly, you might want to consider the Holiday Inn, Fort Washington or the Hampton Inn, Willow Grove and please use the Travel Links to Help Support BetterBidding if you go this route. Another option is to stay in Center City and drive up North Broad street through North Philly. Give yourself extra time as the drive will not be as stress free, especially if you are not familiar with the area. I would also call the school to see if they have any hotel recommendations, good luck with the interview! Will you be flying into Philadelphia? Link to comment
tnn Posted March 25, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2006 Thanks for the info. Yes, I am flying into Philadelphia. I would like to try bidding on the Horsham-Willow Grove area. I am arriving April 10th and staying for one night. The school has offered various discounts to select hotels in this area for approximately 99 dollars a night. I looked directly at some hotels around this area and it was listing prices in the range of 109 - 159. I was hoping to book a 2* or 2.5* hotel in this area for approximately 50 - 60 dollars. Does this seem feasible? Any suggestion on how to bid will be greatly appreciated. Link to comment

If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 2.5* Horsham/Willow Grove...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 2* Horsham/Willow Grove...Bid $40Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
