The best price I found on hotwire was over $200 for 4* and I find posts where people have found 4* for less than $140 using hotwire. We need 2 rooms for four adults or 1 suite with two bedrooms 4/27 till 5/1. We are going to attend a friend's wedding. Thanks for your help! This is my first post on this forum.

Mithra Posted March 22, 2006 Author Report Posted March 22, 2006 I bid last night around 10pm CST. I can stay anywhere in Manhattan. The wedding is on April 30th at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. But we are going to be spending the rest of the time in the City, hence anywhere in the City would be fine.

giadav Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Okay....I just used the above strategy for 1 night 4/29 to 4/30. REJECTED!!I don't know what to do. I'm spoiled and do not want to pay any more than $217 (that is w/tax) for a 4 star hotel. We are coming from Boston and driving to Stammford, CT. , then taking the Metro to Grand Central. Any ideas on hotels in that area??Thanks
