  1. Started bidding at $55 rejected. Increased to $60 , then $65. Asked to increase my bid $25 to win. Gave up. 2 days later I started bid at $75 rejected, again asked to increase my bid $20, rebid at $83 accepted. Happy :)

  3. Hi....I'm looking at a hotel for a pre cruise 1night in FLL check-in 11/29/15. Hot.wire has a 4*FLL Beach Area Hotel favorite for $83 resort. Any idea what hotel it could be?? Resort charge is $25 Amenities Resort Pet friendly Near beach Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Thanks!!
  4. So excited for this win!!!!!!! Time Square is not my favorite location, I prefer Midtown Central or Midtown East, but couldn't pass up this price for a 4.5* Amenities: Pet Friendly Smoke free Fitness Center Restaurant Business Center Self Service Laundry Internet Access Accessibility: for visually impaired in room accessibility accessible bathroom Roll-in shower I used your HOTWIRE link. Thank you.
  5. Worked on this all night. Started at $42 4* rejected, added rebid zones increased bids to $50 *3 rejected. Was to wait 24 hours. So my husband tried, $56 *3 it told me if we wanted to increase my bid to $63 I would be accepted. We closed the screen and re entered adding a rebid zone increase bid to $58 and won. As long as the beds are comfortable and place is clean we are happy. Thank you.
  6. Ok, this was listed as a Favorite and the amenities are: Resort Beach Front Casino Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center Self Service Laundry Internet Access Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll in shower Thank you Betterbidding :)
  7. Very happy. Used your HOTWIRE link to book this. After I purchased it, I went back so that I could see the amenities that were listed and this hotel is no longer available. But it was the standard list that is shown under Intercontinental on your site. It also said "Favorite"
  8. LOL....I was impatient, Priceline bid. $100 rejected, added rebid zone bid $115 and won. Thank you. :) I have stayed here before when the Hotel was new and lots of hype about it. I thought it was just ok. But I really wanted to be on this beach, so I'm happy.
  9. Hi....We will be spending 11/8 -11/10 2 nights in SJU. I have always had great luck with hotwire/Priceline and this board in the past. Express Deals is new to me. We really want to be on the beach by the hotels (Marriott Courtyard, Water Club, Intercontinental area). I saw on Express Deals 4* Isle Verde/Ocean Park $115. Amenities were: Indoor.Outdoor Pool, Pets allowed, Restaurant, Business Center. On the tab of What this could be.....it showed 3.5 star hotels and 4* hotels. How does this work? I was hoping it could be the Water Club seeing their reg price in $189 a night. The Intercontinental is $254 and the Venedzia (3.5*) is $156. And I don't think I want that because it doesn't have a beach. (Unless the beach is a short walk). Any Suggestions? Thank you.
  10. Thank you. The above strategy was rejected. The 3 1/2* for $115 came back and said that if I bid an additional $48 now, it would be accepted. I later bid $125 and won Poco Diablo Resort. Once again, that you for another amazing PRICELINE experience. :)
  11. I saw the HOTWIRE option. Good to know what property you thought it was. Definitely want to use Priceline in hopes of targeting a 4* with the max price of $125 but would "settle" for a 3* at that price or less. We have decided on 2 rooms for Friday 9/13 for 1 night. Your suggested strategy is appreciated. Thank you.
  12. I Feel like I haven't done this in a while. We are looking to bid on 2 hotel rooms for Sedona 1 night stay. We are a little flexible. It can be Friday 9/13 or Saturday 9/14. I don't think we want to spend more than $125 and no less than a 3*. Is this realistic? Any strategy suggestions? Thanks.
  13. Thanks! It would not be worth the slight risk. Thank you. I will post my hotel win, in the next few days. You are the best!!!
  14. I have a question. 4 adults per room in the Minneapolis area, searched and got prices. I assume these rooms will have 2 beds. When I change the search to 3 adults I get a better price and hotel option that doesn't show up with 4 adult. Assuming the room is still going to have 2 beds. What do you think about purchasing this, would it be a problem? Thanks
