EddieC Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Staying at Embassy Suites by the Airport 4/3 - 4/6, company paying for it, around $125/nite. However I'mwanting to stay through the weekend to meet up with a few friend that will be coming into town, mostly bar hopping. I've never used PriceLine before and I'm not that familiar with Philly. I'm assuming I want the downtown district?? I would like 3-4*'s. Can I just make a bid say $60 and increase it daily till it is accepted? Any guidance would be appreciated...
dahammer Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 gotta luv the Embassy Suites breakfast and Manager's reception!!What are the actual dates of your stay? Do you have a maximum budget in mind? Will you have a car? Many downtown hotels charge $20-30 for parking. How many will be in your room, note that Priceline only guarantees accomodations for two, which could be a room with a double bed. However in Philadelphia, this would be a very small chance.
EddieC Posted March 23, 2006 Author Report Posted March 23, 2006 I'll need a hotel for 4/7 & 4/8. I will have a car and I'm aware of the expensive parking, so I'm looking to spend as little as possible for a place that is close to the bars/clubs, but is still decent. Two friends are meeting up with me, but if need be they'll be on the floor...
dahammer Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 suggesting a bidding strategy that is above your maximum is a waste of time, so we need to get an idea of your budget.
