martyd Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 3* cherry hill can anyone identify please, res, business ct,fitness, pool, tennis, laundry any help much appreciated. hotwire at $47 can only see 2 3* hilton and raddison are there others
dahammer Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 marty what are your dates of travel? Also, is this listed as a best value?the Radisson is in Mount Laurel, a different zone. I suspect this is the Hilton.Would you consider bidding on Priceline? In the Priceline Cherry Hill-Mt. Laurel zone, the Holiday Inn is a 2.5* property and others have won this property with bids of $34-40. This hotel is 6 miles from Center City Philadelphia and is a great bargain. (and about one mile east of the Hilton)
martyd Posted March 22, 2006 Author Report Posted March 22, 2006 its june4to6 2 nights, i have 2 kids so priceline bit too hit and miss, the laundry threw me could this be the amerisuites?
dahammer Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 the laundry icon throws me too, but the Amerisuites is located in the Mt. Laurel zone and this has been identified with a "suite" icon in the past. In the Cherry Hill zone, there are just not many hotels in the 3* category, the Hilton has been identified however, no amenities were listed. (also, how many Hiltons list a coin operated laundry?) This leaves only the Holiday Inn or Clarion Inn and Conference Center, both considered 2.5* on Priceline, so maybe Hotwire is inflating its ratings by a half point? Won't be the first time!
thereuare Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 This is a match for the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center so that would be our best guess.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
martyd Posted March 24, 2006 Author Report Posted March 24, 2006 bang on guys, used the link $47 per night hotel is #1 on tripadvisor so thank you all.
dahammer Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 this hotel was previously a Sheraton, but changed badges about 8 years ago. The hotel restaurant is an outpost of the Elephant and Castle chain, but you will be pretty close to Big Johns and a decent rendition of a Philly Cheesesteak and Hoagie.
