ndnpapa
Bought the night before arrival. Very difficult to find a room at a semi-decent rate. I'm a "3* man" and bid up to $95 for a three star with no success using rebids. Hotwire was offering a "3*" for $95, but it was pretty clear that it was the Holiday Inn that Priceline had rated a 2.5*. I started bidding process over at 2.5*s and got the room on the second rebid for $71. Expensive for my taste, but still nearly $25 cheaper than Hotwire for what I'm pretty sure is the same hotel. Travelocity"]Travelocity had this Holiday Inn at $177!Your Offer Price: $71.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $71.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $16.78 Total Charges: $87.78 Link to comment

dahammer
thanks for the follow up, sounds like you did very well with rebidding. Any time you can shave a Benjamin off your rate, you did great Link to comment
