TheBugster
Was surprised to get this one! This was a Name Your Price deal. And this is in £ just to be clear I was trying for the day before but I noticed the prices for the day before were particularly expensive and as I was travelling light and alone (i.e no kids and in particular no wife!!) I didn't mind splitting up my hotel stays. When I was trying for both nights I think I got to £150 and Priceline came back with a offer of increasing my bid to £316 ($410) which I politely declined. So I thought I'd try just for the night on the 23/10 and I was happy to accept a 4.5* which I had selected. I got up to £150 ($195) and it got accepted but also took me to a 5* which was the Viceroy which looks v nice. I realise there is always the chance of getting a higher * than you chose but as I was going up in small increments I didn't expect a 5* anyhow thought it may be of use to someone Link to comment
