ipegleg Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 I'm looking to stay near BWI for an early AM flight and would like parking for a week. Did the Holiday inn give you the 4 days free parking on top of a priceline price?
dahammer Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 please post your dates of travel, did you already bid for this hotel? What are your results?
ipegleg Posted March 14, 2006 Author Report Posted March 14, 2006 I was asking you a question based on a review posted under Holiday Inn Balt. I'm looking for a room for 4/14, but needed to make a few calls to see which hotels I want to target for based on the free parking thingk. I honestly thing most of the hotels you could park at or near without even asking. Many of the outer hotels have public roads at or nearby + most of the hotels don't post car passes.
dahammer Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 I would call the Holiday Inn BWI directly to confirm this, but when I stayed there about 6 weeks ago, I was told that I could park for up to 4 days for free. Additional days would cost $10.Are you going to bid for a room on priceline or book directly with the Hotel? If you plan to book directly, please use the Travel Links to Help Support Better Bidding to make your reservation as it will help to keep this board going. You can't really target a hotel with Priceline as you are bidding for a room with aminimum star rating. When bidding at the 2.5* level, you could get any one of 4 properties reported to this board. There can always be a new hotel that has not yet been reported and I'm not sure if the other 2.5*'s will allow extended parking.True, many of the BWI area hotels don't issue parking passes, but the thrill of saving a few bucks on parking will quickly fade away if your car is towed by security. Good Luck and let us know what you end up with
