casperslc Posted August 1, 2019 Report Posted August 1, 2019 Hi again, I am looking for a place in Huntington Beach from Friday 8/30 - Monday 9/2. This may be a difficult one. I really need to be walking distance to the pier and to Main Street. So, 10-15 minutes or so. The closer the better. (I was looking at Huntington Beach Inn and that area) I am not picky on stars only cleanliness. Any suggestions? Priceline or Hotwire. Thank you!

If it is difficult it would be because of price... what is your expected budget for this stay (per nite before fees/taxes)? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. casperslc Posted August 1, 2019 Author Report Posted August 1, 2019 I would really like it to be under 200 a night. 150 would be super! Thanks

I think you may be able to save another $20-$30 (all-in) but i'm reasonably comfortable with the hotel ID (although not 100%) so there is some risk there, but what i'm more worried about is that if you look at the above you'll see it shows a refundable security deposit of $100 (+$10 resort fee).... the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer i'm seeing that i believe to also be the same hotel only shows 'mandatory fee' so my concern is that it's not viewed as a deposit and you get whacked for the full $100; between the two of these risks i would just as soon pay the extra $25, but let us know your own thoughts and we'll take it from there. There is also the Best Western Surf City for $157/nite which looks to get good reviews but is further from the beach, so not sure how this would work out for your plans this trip. Let us know if you take one of the above, or how you'd like to proceed, and we'll take it from there. casperslc Posted August 1, 2019 Author Report Posted August 1, 2019 I will be making reservations through Priceline for the Huntington Beach Hotel. Thank you, again, for your help.
thereuare Posted August 1, 2019 Report Posted August 1, 2019 Great! Glad we could help you find a good deal at one of the hotels you were trying to stay nearby at (it doesn't get any closer than that!) Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase. Have a great weekend at the beach!
