john cruz Posted July 27, 2019 Author Report Posted July 27, 2019 Thanks. Westin San Deigo shows parking is $50/day so I'll look for a different one.
thereuare Posted July 27, 2019 Report Posted July 27, 2019 While i'll admit that does sound like a lot to park a car, from what i can tell this is inline with most Downtown hotels... some of the 3.5* properties are a little cheaper ($35 or so) but the vast majority of 4 star properties are in the $45-$50 range. Which 'downtown' zones are acceptable to you for this trip? Have you found any specific hotels in this area that have a substantially cheaper parking fee? Are you mostly staying downtown in the sense that it could make sense to park your vehicle at a less expensive location off-site (for example, at the airport) if you won't be needing it during your trip and will mostly be taking mass transit from the time of arrival thru departure? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
