Not really much of a savings with the added fees even with discount code.  It said bed choice, but the only choice was King.

The bed choice was probably 'King' vs. 'Let hotel choose my room'... sometimes there is only one 'choice' and the other (default) option is to let the hotel choose upon check-in.

 

Actually, i think HOTWIRE may have this property classified in the wrong zone as it appears to be located in the Monterey - Del Monte Shopping Center zone (if the map i'm looking at is plotting the exact location... but i did check two different sources)... it appears to be just outside of the Monterey - Cannery Row - Aquarium but we will continue to place it in this zone for the Hotwire Hotel List since that is where HOTWIRE places it.
