Recommendations for Petersburg Virginia Car Rental

I am looking for the cheapest long-term (2 month) car rental in Petersburg, Virginia.  If I need to go to Richmond or surrounding area to get a better deal, I would entertain that possibility.

Please conclude your previous hotel close to Chatham, VA or Danville, VA with whatever you ended up doing for that trip (maybe another board member will be looking for something similar in the future and can get a recommendation of what to do (or what not to do if you didn't like your lodging) from your experience)

 

What are the dates of your rental?  Also, will you be in the area for the entire 2 months?  Keep in mind that if you're using your credit card for insurance it will usually only cover up to ~21 consecutive rental days, so you may want to consider renting for 21 days (or however many days the maximum is for the credit card you will be using) and then return the vehicle and start a new contract, and repeat as is necessary.
