mrtgman Posted July 23, 2018 Report Posted July 23, 2018 Booked a 4* Walt Disney Bonnet creek under the Priceline Express deals. Turns out it was the Hilton. We have stayed here before. They are now charging an additional $40 per day "resort fee" on top of their $30 per day "parking" fee. Keep that in mind so you can figure the actual cost of the room is an additional $70 per night. I personally think this is a scam because they never tell you about this until you are standing at the front desk checking in. What are you going to do when you are there with your kids? Start arguing about it? I will never stay there again just because of this.
thereuare Posted July 23, 2018 Report Posted July 23, 2018 Welcome back! It would be appreciated if you would conclude your previous Priceline Orlando hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip... then please add a reply here with the details of your most recent PRICELINE EXPRESS purchase of the Hilton Bonnet Creek. Please include the star rating, city, zone, hotel name, room rate per nite, dates of your stay, and the amenities associated with the property and shown prior to your purchase. Although it has been discussed on the board previously that there were issues with this Hilton not showing the resort fee prior to purchase, it would be more helpful to others if you shared the details of your purchases so they can potentially identify this hotel prior to their own purchases in the future. It would also be appreciated if you started to share your wins as you receive them... not just when you have an issue with a recent trip. In the future feel free to ask the board for help before your purchase as we can often help avoid situations like the one you encountered above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
