Hotwire Hotel: 12/8-12/10 NYC 4 or 5 star

A friend and I are travelling to NYC last minute and looking for weekend accomodations.  We would like to have separate beds. We would like Central Park South, Midtown East, Rockefeller Center, Theatre - pretty much anywhere midtown. We are both very familiar with city...but don't really want to be in financial district...

 

There are a lot of hotels listed in Hotwire in the $300-375 range - do you have any recommendations?

 

Do you know what the 4 Star Time Square South, 85% reviews, $301 weekend deal (usually $607?)

I don't see any hotel fitting this description when searching HOTWIRE for your dates (and please include the amenities when requesting help with a hotel as it helps ensure that we're researching the same property you're inquiring about)

I'm very familiar with NYC, what are your requirements for this stay and what is your maximum budget? (per nite before fees/taxes)
