thereuare Posted October 10, 2017 Report Posted October 10, 2017 Please follow-up your previous Raleigh Durham Hotwire hotel and NYC New Years Eve Priceline hotel threads with whatever you ended up doing for each of those trips, then reply here and we will have a look at the offer above. Also, is that the full amenity set for this property when using the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool and clicking the GREEN 'Full Amenities' button next to this offer? hflynn Posted October 11, 2017 Author Report Posted October 11, 2017 Hi, Yes, plane tickets purchased! There are 3 of us.. i know hotwire/priceline can guarantee 2 double beds, but I read that most have a pullout? is that correct:) Im trying to figure out this 5 * North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes with these amenities Free parking, Resort, Suite, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower any ideas?
thereuare Posted October 11, 2017 Report Posted October 11, 2017 1 hour ago, hflynn said: i know hotwire/priceline can guarantee 2 double beds No... PRICELINE guarantees double occupancy; HOTWIRE guarantees accommodations for everyone that you include in your search. Neither guarantees bed type/room configuration unless a specific room configuration is offered during the booking process. There are two HOTWIRE offers with the amenity set above: 5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $164.00 (95% recommended) Free Parking Resort Suite Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> The Palazzo Las Vegas is my best guess for this one 5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $163.00 (90% recommended) Free Parking Resort Suite Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> my guess for this one would be The Venetian Las Vegas For both of the above standard rooms have a pullout sofabed (and a King bed is usually the default as rooms with 2 Queen beds are considered an upgraded and priced higher) If you're looking at booking double occupancy anyway you could also consider (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the link provided below): 5* The Strip - Northeast for $154 Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino is my guess here (with The Venetian being a secondary, but slightly less likely, outcome).. you can also get an extra 5% Off using our link and coupon at the top of the page or in my signature below Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. hflynn Posted October 11, 2017 Author Report Posted October 11, 2017 Hi, First thanks so much for replying! Im on HOTWIRE now, through the links you provided and I dont see that rate anymore? Is is possible that is changed that quickly? might it go lower again? I only see $208 and $209 a night now.
thereuare Posted October 11, 2017 Report Posted October 11, 2017 How many adults are you including in your HOTWIRE search? hflynn Posted October 11, 2017 Author Report Posted October 11, 2017 Hi, I searched with 2 adults and got that price.. with 3 adults I get $261.. thanks again for your help,
thereuare Posted October 11, 2017 Report Posted October 11, 2017 If you want to ensure 2 Queen beds you can go with HOTWIRE and search for 2adults/1child (or 2children) and a 2Queen bed choice is given for $190/nite (although to see this bed choice you will need to use the BiddingHelper.com and click the offer in the 'regular' Hotwire tab)... or if you intend to book for double occupancy then you can go with the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer linked above. Either way we have current PRICELINE EXPRESS and HOTWIRE offers which will take 5% off (PRICELINE EXPRESS) or $20 off (HOTWIRE) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. hflynn Posted October 24, 2017 Author Report Posted October 24, 2017 Gahh...life happened and I got too busy to book this hotel and now there are no 5 stars available for this time when I use the BiddingHelper.com.com link. but when I use Hotwire there are some...im confused
AaronJB Posted October 24, 2017 Report Posted October 24, 2017 Are you looking under the PRICELINE EXPRESS tab on BiddingHelper.com, then clicking 5*? I'm seeing a bunch for these dates: PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the links below.) 5* The Strip - Northeast for $155 Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Palazzo would be my guess. 5* The Strip - Southwest for $207 Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Vdara would be my guess 5* The Strip - Central West for $212 Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center >>>Cosmo would be my guess. Let us know what you decide and how it goes. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
hflynn Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 Hi sorry i was using hotwire, because i wanted 3 person occupant, and I understand that priceline can't guarantee that
thereuare Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 I'm still seeing multiple 5 star properties offered when searching using the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool... are you only looking in one specific zone? Are you including 2adults or 3adults in your search? What exactly is it that you're looking for in a hotel for this trip and your current budget (per nite before fees/taxes)? hflynn Posted January 4, 2018 Author Report Posted January 4, 2018 Hi, Im looking for 5 * at a great a price..id love to stay $220/night or lower (Wynn, Palazzo etc)
thereuare Posted January 4, 2018 Report Posted January 4, 2018 I'm seeing what appears to be the Venetian for $216/nite but only when booking for double occupancy (adding a 3rd person the rate goes up to $240/nite). Knowing that standard rooms at this property have a pullout sofabed, would you be willing to book for only double occupancy (1-2 people go to the check-in desk while the other 1-2 people go wonder someplace else in the hotel... easy to do at this property as well as most large Las Vegas casino properties) Note that your dates cover the opening round of the NCAA Basketball tournament which is high demand event in Las Vegas. Are you ready to book and commit to this trip at this point in time? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. hflynn Posted January 4, 2018 Author Report Posted January 4, 2018 yes, i like to book it this week...yes Id be will risk the 2 person occupancy at this point.! are you looking on priceline or hotwire. Also I don't see this torment in LV...it just busy because of the NCAA happening?

hflynn Posted January 4, 2018 Author Report Posted January 4, 2018 ok PRICELINE EXPRESS shows $210/night Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Faciliti HOTWIRE $223/ night - Centre Strip - fountains FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Suite, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Kitchenette, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower What would the priceline hotel be? and the hotwire one?
thereuare Posted January 5, 2018 Report Posted January 5, 2018 Are you ready to book tonight... or not until later in the week? As noted above, there is no point in researching hotels if you're not ready to make a purchase at this point in time, as the offers (and/or the prices, making some researched no longer a viable option) can change by the time you're ready to commit to a purchase. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. hflynn Posted January 5, 2018 Author Report Posted January 5, 2018 yes tonight...and like you said I just saw a new one..its listed as new to hotwire hotel 5* north strip..but yes id like to book tonight
thereuare Posted January 5, 2018 Report Posted January 5, 2018 Although the NCAA tournament is not played in Las Vegas, it's a big event as there are about 50 college basketball games that can be wagered on over a 4 day period. Many casinos throw 'viewing parties' and set up ballrooms with TVs and satellite betting stations for the event. The 'New to Hotwire' designation is meaningless (confirm your dates on the landing pages after clicking any links provided below): 5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $99.00 Free Parking Free Internet Spa Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Kitchenette ==> from the Hotwire Hotel List matches previous reports for The Trump 5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $216.00 Free Parking Resort Suite Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Venetian continues to be my guess here 5* The Strip - Northwest for $104 Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Trump 5* The Strip - Southwest for $179 Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Vdara 5* The Strip - Northeast for $210 Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Venetian 5* The Strip - Central West for $212 Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Cosmopolitan Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. hflynn Posted January 5, 2018 Author Report Posted January 5, 2018 Thanks about NCAA... and of the list of hotels above.. Im a bit confused, as I used www.betterhelper.com to get a list of anmenties, but on the HOTWIRE site, I see different prices listed.. I see 5-star Resort in Center Strip - Fountains area $223 Business centerCasinoFitness centerGolf nearbyInternet accessPool(s)ResortRestaurant(s)Smoke-free rooms Im little confused now?
thereuare Posted January 5, 2018 Report Posted January 5, 2018 I didn't list any Center Strip - Fountains zone properties above, but the same one is also in BiddingHelper.com: 5* Center Strip - Fountains for $223.00 Resort Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> from the Hotwire Hotel LIst matches previous reports for the Aria and that would be my best guess Why not go for the Venetian which is connected to the Palazzo (a hotel you said you were hoping for) and the rooms are virtually identical. Also, remember that at these prices you're booking for double occupancy, so you would want to go with a hotel that has a pullout sofabed as a standard room amenity, which is the case at the Venetian (i don't think that is the case at many of the others) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
