dahammer Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 very difficult same day bid for the Mahwah area, even with a $10 bidding credit that was offered by Priceline due to a recent complaint that I made over a recent stay. Started bidding at the 3* level at $49 and was rejected up to $59 as there are 3 rebidding opportunities. Went down to 2.5* and opened the bidding at $55 and was rejected up to $75. Again, lowered to 2* and started bidding at $41 in Mahwah, rejected. Added Woodcliff and Bid $45, rejected. Bid $50 in Mahwah and Suffern zones, success: Your Offer Price: $50.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $14.30 Total Charges: $64.30 This is a fairly new property, the rate directly with the hotel was $119, so I'm pleased with the savings.
