stuseattle
Hi there. We're looking to stay for 2 nights in the Downtown area of Portland, Oregon and Hotwire came back with this: 3-star Hotel in Northwest Portland - Pearl District area Thu, Sep 07 - Sat, Sep 09 1 Room, 2 Adults 90% recommended Favorite! (98 reviews) $181 per night Free breakfast Free Internet Free parking Amenities Business center Fitness center Self-service laundry Smoke-free rooms While usually we prefer staying in 3.5 or above hotels, Portland is generally an expensive city and very few hotels offer Free Parking. Anyone have any thoughts which hotel this might be? stu Link to comment
thereuare
For this 3* HOTWIRE Northwest Portland - Pearl District hotel: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access ==> Silver Cloud Inn Portland NW would be the best guess for this one I also see the following which may be of interest (confirm your dates on the landing page of any links provided below): 3.5* Downtown Portland - Pioneer Courthouse Square - Pearl District for $166 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Hi-Lo, Autograph Collection would be my best guess for this one. If you use our link and code in my signature it takes an additional 5% off which brings this down to about $157/nite... which saves about $24/day vs. the property above which you can apply to parking. Assuming our guess of the Hi-Lo is correct, they offer off-site parking at $21/day. Would this work for your needs this trip? or you could consider: 4* Downtown Portland - Pioneer Courthouse Square - Pearl District for $176 Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> guess here would be The Benson, a Coast Hotel... but not sure how much parking would be thru the hotel or in the immediate area (as one review i read mentioned a public parking garage across the street... although that review was from a few years ago) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes hor how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
