Hotwire had what looked to be this property for $122, so I started bidding MTE at $99 and won The Barclay on the first bid.

Their website is showing rates at $269, while hotwire was showing retail of $209. Not a bad price for an overnight trip to NYC. :)

How did you get on? What type of room did you get? Good experience? Any perks with Prioroty club?

Very interested as it seems to be coming up a lot and I may bid in this zone for later this year.

Quick update/review:

Check-in time as "after 3pm" but I had no problems doing so around 1pm. Requested 2 beds and received 2 double beds. I couldn't find my P.Club card to save my life, so I don't know if they would have given me any special treatment.

Room was fairly large for NYC. I have photos, but it'll take me a couple of days to post them over on the real hotel photo site.
