The Hotwire rate for this property is $86/night. I need four rooms. Can you suggest a bidding strategy? It is the hotel management that tells priceline the minimum rate it will accept, so if you try to bid higher in an attempt to get the Hyatt, you must be prepared to possibly end up with the Doubletree. Lets say you were to start bidding at $60, would the prospect of a saving $37 be enough to make the Doubletree acceptable? Link to comment

If not i would just take the Hotwire offer and 'know' what you'll be getting.
