hossmama Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 Please help id these:4.5* Champs Elysees-Trocadero Rest, Fitness, HiSpeed Internet, BC4* Eiffel Tower-Cambrone Rest., Fitness. BC4* St. Germain - Latin Quarter Rest., Fitness, BC, Laundry4* Opera Quarter - Louvre Boutique, Fitness, HiSpeed Internet, BCThanks - I have no idea on these! I appreciate your help!!!
WillTravel Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 Did you try setting up a fake Hotwire package that covers your dates? That will list a bunch of hotels, some of which might match this list.I'd skip: 4* Eiffel Tower-Cambrone Rest., Fitness. BC - too high a risk it's the Sofitel Porte de Sevres, which is very inconvenient.4* St. Germain - Latin Quarter Rest., Fitness, BC, Laundry - could be Le Meridien Montparnasse
hossmama Posted February 15, 2006 Author Report Posted February 15, 2006 Thanks WillTravelI did try my dates with the package. None matched! I agree about the Sofitel (avoiding). I thought the 4.5* might be the Westin (I also tried some dates in June), but no go there either.
thereuare Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 Is there a reason your focussing more on Hotwire than Priceline for this stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
hossmama Posted February 15, 2006 Author Report Posted February 15, 2006 Actually yes! I'd like to stay in a 4* or above in a fairly central location. I tried to bid for a 4* (on Priceline) in OQW-Champs Elysees, but rejected ($110 max bid). The possibilities for 4* hotels in the other zones seem a bit dicey - I don't want to stay in a business district (we'll be there on the weekend) or at Novotel Les Halles (bad neighborhood at night?). I will post my bid history in the Priceline section. Thanks. I'm really most curious about the 4.5*.
hossmama Posted February 15, 2006 Author Report Posted February 15, 2006 1st bid $100 4* OQW- Champs Elysees, counteroffer $155Re-bid (with free zone) $110 REJECTEDWill try again later, unless Hotwire shows something promising!
WillTravel Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 I agree with your assessment about Priceline vs. Hotwire in this instance.I'd take a look here, just in case there are some good weekend deals, as there sometimes are:http://www.solmelia.com http://www.accor.com
