Since the 3* Radisson was available directly for $98, I decided to drop down to a 2.5* level and started bidding at $55. Bid up to $80 with rebid zones (or zones like Brooklyn that have few reported wins) with no luck. Went back to the 3* level and bid $82, rejected; increased to $86, success.Your Offer Price: $86.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $23.02 Total Charges: $109.02 The best rate on the Crowne Plaza website is $169. The good news is that high speed internet is free, but Parking is $17 per day, ouch! Shuttle service is free.
dahammer Posted February 16, 2006 Author Report Posted February 16, 2006 upon check in, found out that the free High Speed internet is only available in the lobby. Alas, dial up is the only option in the rooms.
dahammer Posted February 17, 2006 Author Report Posted February 17, 2006 Found out that Priceline paid $83 for the room and with taxes, the all in price with taxes was $97.60, so the Priceline fee was $11.42.Also, parked on the street with no problems, the hotel is adjacent to a residential area of Jamaica
