thereuare Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Please start by following-up your previous Priceline Express Mystic hotel and Hotwire NYC threads with whatever you ended up doing for each of those trips... then reply here and we willl have a look at your post above. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Also, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (use this for all of your searches to ensure you're seeing the full amenity set) If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

thereuare Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 The Homewood Suites by Hilton Eatontown (previously the Staybridge Suites) would be my best guess for the HOTWIRE offer above. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
charlestonemt Posted August 31, 2016 Author Report Posted August 31, 2016 Thanks for the help. I'm going to keep looking...will post a PRICELINE EXPRESS request in that forum in a few.
charlestonemt Posted August 31, 2016 Author Report Posted August 31, 2016 Any help IDing this property would be appreciated. Priceline Express offer... 3.5* $91/night 9/22/16 - 9/24/16 Tinton Falls - Eatontown - Long Branch Rated 7.0 out of 10 (or higher) Amenities: Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Thanks in advance.
thereuare Posted August 31, 2016 Report Posted August 31, 2016 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. For this 3.5* Tinton Falls - Eatontown - Long Branch hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) with: Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> my best guess would be the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you ultimately decide and how it goes. PS- please also update your email address associated with the board so any messages/PMs don't bounce back to us. You can do so by clicking your user name on the top right corner of the board and then ACCOUNT SETTINGS... from there you should be able to change and validate your new email address. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
charlestonemt Posted August 31, 2016 Author Report Posted August 31, 2016 Just won a Priceline Express room at Sheraton Eatontown for $85/night for these dates. Actually a little disappointed because I intentionally bid in the 3* category hoping NOT to get this hotel (it has terrible reviews) but they accepted my bid, so I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
charlestonemt Posted August 31, 2016 Author Report Posted August 31, 2016 I actually bid in the 3* category hoping to avoid this hotel, but I guess Priceline's fine print states that they guarantee the selected star level or better and bumped me up to 3.5* for this hotel. Offer Price:$85.00/night Number of rooms:1 Room Number of nights:2 Nights Room Subtotal:$170.00 Taxes & Fees:$35.86 Total Charged:$205.86 Paid in full
AaronJB Posted August 31, 2016 Report Posted August 31, 2016 Very sorry to hear that you got a property you were trying to avoid. Upgrades do happen, but unfortunately sometimes they're a negative. Hopefully the property will exceed expectations and be better than the reviews indicate. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.
charlestonemt Posted August 31, 2016 Author Report Posted August 31, 2016 Just called Priceline customer service. The first representative wasn't helpful. Asked to be transferred to a supervisor who stated that if the hotel agreed to cancel, they would process a full refund. She contacted them directly, and they agreed to cancel. Lesson learned :)
AaronJB Posted August 31, 2016 Report Posted August 31, 2016 Thanks for the follow-up and glad you are happy with how the call turned out. Please let us know if you would like assistance re-booking via PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE (in order to try to avoid the Sheraton.) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
