NOTE: The hotel list has The Art listed as a 4.0 star hotel. I was bidding on 4.5 star only and unexpectedly received this hotel as my win. Thus hotel list needs to be updated.

 

This period is during GABF so pricing is crazy. I ran the 5* up to $300 via free rebid zones and gave up. Last year I was able to get Four Seasons at a bargain during GABF.

 

The PRICELINE EXPRESS option for same dates at 4.5 stars in downtown zone was $232 so bidding ended up being very close to this price to win.

This is a great hotel! I stayed there in December 2015, however the price you paid is close to their normal rate. I got a room for the night for $125.

Maybe during times of 'normal' demand, but as per the OP's post, this is during the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) which is making rates very high for these dates, and you can see that rates at this property for these dates start at $390/nite... making this $228 win an excellent deal.
