Priceline Hotel: 2* Ouray Colorado Comfort Inn Ouray

Tried and tried to get a good deal in this area with bidding, but did it just tonight, not multiple days.  Finally opted to use PRICELINE EXPRESS and got the Comfort Inn.  The amenities are:  

Air conditioning

Bus parking

Cable television

Coffee/Tea maker

Complimentary full american breakfast

Free movies/video

Hairdryer

Handicap rooms

High speed internet connection

Iron

Non-smoking

Onsite laundry

Outdoor parking

Parking

Pay per view movies on TV

Pets allowed

Safe deposit box

Telephone

Wireless internet connection

 

Total was $91.86.  The price booking directly with the hotel would be $95.55 with the taxes.  So the savings is the smallest I've ever received using Priceline.  In a case like this it is not worth it since with priceline you don't know what you are getting.  Better to book directly with the hotel.

Sorry to hear the savings on this one wasn't as much as you would have lived, but hopefully you'll find this property to be a good value for the price paid and it will be convenient for your needs.

 

Feel free to ask the board for help before your future opaque purchases and we will try to assist in a more favorable outcome with bigger savings.

Can you please add a reply to this thread confirming the amenities PRICELINE EXPRESS associated with this property and showed before your purchase... as they are different then the amenities listed in your confirmation page (PRICELINE EXPRESS doesn't user nearly all of the amenitis above)
