glitterglamm Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 I am looking for help with a hotel in Monterey, CA for arriving on 5/13 and departing on 5/16. From what I have looked at, most hotels are close to $200.00 per night. Would like to find something around $135. Is that too amibitious for this area? Looking at Zone 5 or 6.
AaronJB Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Please provide a follow-up for your prior Maui Hotwire thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to look into the above listing.) Also, to avoid any confusion, please list the zone names that you are bidding, as the zone numbers will change over time as PRICELINE adds, removes, or renames zones. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
glitterglamm Posted April 25, 2016 Author Report Posted April 25, 2016 I never ended up travelling to Maui. I was looking into it at the time but ended up changing plans. The Zone I am looking for is Zone 5 Monterey or Zone 6 Pacific Grove.

Nobody reading your previous Maui hotel thread will know to look here to learn that you cancelled your travel plans... please post a reply to that thread indicating that you never made the trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. For Monterey, is the minimum star rating that you're willing to accept? Are your plans for this trip firm and you're ready to bid now?
