Priceline Hotel: Monterey, CA

I am looking for help with a hotel in Monterey, CA for arriving on 5/13 and departing on 5/16.  From what I have looked at, most hotels are close to $200.00 per night.  Would like to find something around $135. Is that too amibitious for this area?  Looking at Zone 5 or 6.

I never ended up travelling to Maui.  I was looking into it at the time but ended up changing plans.  The Zone I am looking for is Zone 5 Monterey or Zone 6 Pacific Grove.

Nobody reading your previous Maui hotel thread will know to look here to learn that you cancelled your travel plans... please post a reply to that thread indicating that you never made the trip.

For Monterey, is the minimum star rating that you're willing to accept?  Are your plans for this trip firm and you're ready to bid now?

I would like a 3 star hotel but would accept 2 1/2 star.  Yes, plans are firm.  My flight is booked.  Just need to  Sort out my hotel.
