dc3 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 The "resort" category is considered higher than 4*. Any zone with a resort symbol (it is on the list of all areas - you didn't even have to click through) can never be a free re-bid zone - you can be upgraded from any category. There are a number of these zones in the Phoenix area - even where you don't thikn they'd be. Priceline explains this on their site. But some of us want Phoenix North (Resort) so that's a useful post. The North Pointes come up regularly, especially when it's close to the date of the planned stay.
