nikk Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 First I tried for Miami Resort for 3 different weeks in February up to $130 and was rejected.Tried for 4 star up to $110, rejected.Tried for 3 star and was finally accepted when my bid hit $105 and won with the Riu Miami Beach.I never heard of this hotel and wasn't expecting it, so I hope it's nice! It was booking through Expedia for $235 a night, so I guess I got a decent deal.I also wanted to say I just found this site from my sister a couple of days ago and I really appreciated all the bidding tips. I would've never knows about the free rebids if not for this place.

jluff Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 The Riu is a chain of about 100 hotels. They are owned by a spanish company and only have two locations in the US. I stayed there in November. My wife and I loved it. We were there November 11-14 before our cruise. We will definetly go back at some point and stay longer.Feel free to ask me any questions.
